All the edges of the shower glass should always be polished The glass must be at the least 3/8" or 1/2" thick. Frameless shower enclosures should never contain frame. The Notching in the shower glass must be accurate. The Silicone must be applied very neat. *The silicone can be seen through the glass*   Here are a few things every shower door shopper should take in consideration when looking for a company to hire: Does the shower door company have a license? Is the license current? Is the bond good or expired? Does the name of the company match the license number? The BBB does a back ground check of the company for cases filed and judgments. The price is a little more than a bypass enclosure but it is defiantly worth the money. It comes with rollers that glide so smooth and quiet that it screams out quality. The Skyline comes in 3/8" Clear or Obscured pattern glass. There are no channels to collect mold just sleek tubular shaped brackets that mount through the glass and attach to the shower stall wall.
